Hi, I’m Kenzie! I’m 14 years old and the founder of Tazzy.
I love makeup, I play volleyball, and I love my dog, Tahoe. I’ve been playing volleyball since second grade, and it’s been a big part of my life for a long time.
I’ve always loved trying different makeup and beauty products. Now I’m getting to turn something I love into my first company, and I’m learning so much along the way.
There’s a lot more to making makeup than I ever realized, and I’m excited to keep learning and building Tazzy.

The Story Behind Tazzy
I started Tazzy because I really love makeup.
I’ve tried a lot of different makeup over the years, and I also have really oily skin and break out a lot. That made me pay more attention to what I was putting on my skin and what was actually in the makeup I used.
I started thinking about what I would want if I could make my own makeup — products I would actually use, and products my friends and other girls my age would want too.
If I wouldn’t use something myself, I don’t want to make it.
I also wanted Tazzy to be affordable for girls my age. Makeup shouldn’t have to cost a ton, and most of all, makeup should be fun.
That’s why I wanted to create Tazzy.
Tahoe is my dog and my best friend. His nickname is Tazzy, so when I was thinking about what to name my makeup company, I decided to name it after him.
